The Most Amazing Chocolate Cake

I made this cake exactly as written last night, and is perfect! The light and airy quality totally balanced out the heavy frosting choices that I made. Definitely a recipe worth making again!

A gorgeous cake that is truly delicious, moist and very memorable. I first made this cake for my daughter’s 18th birthday as she has always wished for a ‘Matilda Cake’! So impressive to my daughter’s delight! I did use chocolate buttercream to ice the cake which worked very well and unrefined sugar in both the cake and frosting. Scrumptious!!

This cake was a sure hit for a co-workers birthday! Absolutely love it and will use it again.
